Welcome

Who knew there would be so much to learn when my son started travel baseball? Not me! After all, he was only eight years old and it was “just baseball.” How much could I possibly need to know? I mean, my son had his baseball bat, glove, and batting helmet. We should be good to go, right? WRONG!!! My life was about to change and I had no idea how all-consuming it would be. I’ve had to learn about packing for out-of-town travel, searching out hotels, the best wagons, chairs, ice chests, snacks, fundraisers, cleats, uniforms, and the list goes on and on. Oh and don’t make the mistake of thinking just any old bat or glove will do. Did you know there are specific gloves for infield, outfield, 1st base, pitcher, and catcher? And how to properly care for them. Did you know that there are different types of bats? Did you know there are specific lengths and weights for bats? Did you know that white pants are a monster to clean? I’m here to help you navigate this and avoid all the “rookie” mistakes, provide some tips and tricks to make your baseball mom life a little easier. Fast forward almost three years and truth be told, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
